The Caucasian Chalk Circle - A play with songs by Bertolt Brecht
A civil war breaks out. The Governor of the land is assassinated, his wife has fled and Grusha, a servant girl, is left to protect the royal son. But with rebel fighters on her heels and an array of characters turning their backs on her, Grusha’s life gets more and more desperate.
With a live band, the actors of Windsor College bring Brecht’s classic morality tale to life; reminding us that:
“In the worst of bloody times
Good people still survive.”
