Chris Dean is one of Europe’s finest Jazz trombonists, recently a finalist in the BritishJazz Awards in both Vocals and Trombone categories.
Throughout his career he has performed for many of the Jazz Greats including: Quincy Jones, George Benson, Jamie Cullen, Gregory Porter, and fellow trombone players JJ Johnson, Carl Fontana, Jiggs Whigham and George Chisholm.
Chris is also in demand as a Big Band player having performed with The SWR Big Band (Germany), The Berlin Big Band, The Carla Bley Orchestra, The Umbria Jazz Festival (Italy), Jazz Festival Rio and San Paulo (Brazil) as well as The New Irish Jazz Orchestra (Cork). Chris plays regularly with his quartet at Jazz Clubs and Festivals around Europe and over the years has had bands with British greats including Tommy Whittle, Ronnie Hughes, Derek Watkins... the list goes on and on!
