Learn to Swing & Jive – Lindy hop workshops for beginners on selected Saturday afternoons!
Swingland’s weekly Wednesday evening classes at The Old Court are now closed – they are moving to a workshop format, on selected Saturday afternoons, the first of these being Saturday 9th November, 3pm-5pm.
Swingland has been teaching in Windsor at The Old Court for over 15 years. They teach Lindy hop which is the original form of swing or ‘jive’ dancing.
In their workshops you may join in the partner rotation (recommended as you learn faster), or stick with one partner if you prefer. Advance booking is required. Come alone, with a partner or a friend, or in a group (sorry, no children or pets).
The workshops are taught by Swingland founder Martin Ellis.
This workshop is aimed at those who are looking to kick off their swing with a fun and informative workshop, or to consolidate their basics. Expect to have lots of fun - and a few challenges!
