Ruby Wax

Successful comedian, writer and performer, Ruby Wax joins us at The Old Court to tell us about her latest book, ‘And Now for the Good News’. In conversation with actress Sue Holderness, expect to be entertained and enlightened as Ruby equips us with a positive roadmap for a kinder, brighter world and better mental wellbeing.

Holding a Master’s degree in Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy from Oxford University, and an OBE for services to mental health, Ruby is a pioneer of the mindfulness movement. She has spent the last 3 years researching, meeting and speaking with the people who are leading the latest innovation and influencing a brighter future for humanity, including the communities being designed to eradicate loneliness and the companies putting their employees’ happiness first.

Exploring the timely themes of compassion, connection and relationships, all delivered with her trademark wit, this is guaranteed to be the much-needed tonic we all need.

‘This book couldn’t be more needed right now!’ Nigella Lawson

‘A tonic for the universal malaise’ Ian McKellen
