Braywood First School in Windsor are for the first time ever transferring their summer production from school hall to theatre stage, with their Year 3 and 4 classes performing ‘Olivia!’ at The Old Court theatre in Windsor.

'Olivia!' is a brilliant and innovative musical, set in Victorian times, which traces the steps of Olivia (a female Oliver) from downtrodden orphan to star of the stage. On her journey to the bright lights of London, she is befriended by Eliza Doolittle [from ‘My Fair Lady’] and four other flower-sellers, and after a series of adventures, becomes a singer in a new Gilbert and Sullivan show, thanks to the unlikely assistance of Fagin and The Artful Dodger.

There are also splendid roles for George Bernard Shaw, Ebenezer Scrooge, Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson. This feel-good show abounds with Malcolm Sircom's well-known wit and humour, both in the script and the songs which are catchy, lyrical, and full of gusto.  Watch out for the audience handkerchiefs coming out in the final scene!

We hope these performances will help us raise much needed funds for school resources.  We look forward to seeing you there!

The performance runs for 1 hour, with no interval.
