Luke Ratz (Łukasz Ratz. b.1982) was born in Poland and is an independent artist who has been making art for over 30 years.
His work is mainly focused on imaginative abstract drawing, painting and abstract sculpture, which are methods of documenting the complex 3D mental representations which sometimes contain symbolic meanings. His art is an exploration of the imagination, inspired by philosophy, epistemology and cognitive psychology.
Ratz exhibited in several small galleries and clubs in Warsaw and in 2010 took part in a group exhibition “Journey Around The Skull” in The Center for Contemporary Art in Warsaw - Ujazdowski Castle, where he showed his large format drawings alongside other upcoming artists from his generation.
In London in 2020 he exhibited in a Cave-Pimlico gallery. His mantra is “Anything Goes.”
